Floor Technician / Housekeeper – Environmental Services Full-Time | Night Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

This role maintains and cleans floors in various hospital settings under the guidance of the EVS Floor Technician, ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Mops and vacuums all floors daily and cleans mops after each use.
• Empties trash cans in offices and cubicles.
• Performs all types of floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting.
• Adheres to all organizational safety, risk management, and infection control standards while promoting a culture of safety.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on floor equipment; requests assistance from plant operations and maintenance as needed.
• Maintains accurate floor care logs and checklists.
• Operates all equipment with care and according to facility and manufacturer safety standards and procedures.
• Performs project work and specialty tasks according to facility needs.
• Cleans areas such as conference rooms (setup/dismantle according to function sheets and schedules), stairwells, elevators, and hangs cubicle curtains.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 3 years minimum related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience as a Floor Technician.
• High school education or equivalent.
