Floor Technician - EVS

About the role

The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining and restoring floors, operating industrial floor care equipment, and ensuring cleanliness in assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform hard floor procedures such as stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and buffing
• Conduct carpet and upholstery cleaning, including shampooing and spot cleaning
• Manage waste and disinfect trash and recyclable materials
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and infection control standards, and wear PPE
• Provide excellent customer service with a friendly attitude
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of work areas
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a floor care technician or related role
• Knowledge of floor care equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and perform basic math
• Physical ability for lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing
• Willingness to wear uniforms and PPE
