Floor Technician

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-time 8-hour shift Monday to Friday, Night shift, Weekend availability, Travel is required, Overnight stays, Per diem per day
• Location: On the Road (travel between job sites)
• Pay Rate: $18 per hour — paid weekly

Key Responsibilities

• Perform floor care duties: carpet cleaning, stripping & waxing, buffing, grout cleaning, burnishing, etc
• Support management with day-to-day operations to ensure timely, high-quality service
• Maintain and perform preventative care on floor equipment; report worn or broken equipment promptly
• Keep equipment clean and in safe working condition
• Secure buildings and company assets upon completing work
• Provide training and leadership to other staff when needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of floor care experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or lead a small team
• Must pass a drug screen, background check, and E-Verify
• Must be 21+ years old

Physical Requirements

• Mobility & Balance: Climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Strength: Lift and push up to 60 lbs, Carry 10–15 lbs on your back for at least one hour, Perform repetitive push/pull cleaning motions

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor work with exposure to weather (heat, cold, rain, humidity)
• Travel between job sites as required
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and operation of power floor equipment
• Flexible schedule — may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on client needs
