Sweeping, Mopping, Scrubbing, and Cleaning
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, cafeterias, bathrooms, hallways and stairwells.
- Carpets and upholstery cleaning.
- Strips and waxes tile floors, concrete, and terrazzo flooring.
To Perform the Job Successfully
- Able to work with single discs, boost machines, wet/dry vacuums, ride-on floor machines, squeegees, mops and buckets, razor floor scrapers, doodle bugs, buffing machines, and various stripping/waxing chemicals.
- Experienced in removing old wax, neutralizing floors, and applying new wax through different methods.
- Able to adapt to and handle adverse flooring conditions.
- Able to complete tasks efficiently according to crew leader, supervisor, or project manager's directions.
- Able and willing to clean, maintain, and account for all equipment used.
- Responds promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance.
