Floor Technician

About the role

The position is available for an experienced Floor Technician to join the Health Center team at Carillon Senior Living. Carillon Senior Living is celebrating its 50th anniversary as a trusted senior living community in West Texas.

Responsibilities

• Maintains floors and carpets within the Community.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, buff, shampoo, and wax all floor surfaces in the common areas.
• Shampoo carpets and furniture in resident apartments and offices.
• Picks up and removes major trash from the Community.
• Clean and wash entrances, doors, windows, elevators, stair wells, hand rails, and walls.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Afford assistance in training new Floor Tech personnel.

Requirements

• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
• Understanding of general cleaning practices.
• Able to complete required duties within time allowed.
• Able to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• At least a 9th grade education.
• Six months to one-year experience housekeeping and/or cleaning.
• Previous floor maintenance experience preferred but not required.

Pay

$12-$15 per hour.

Schedule

Monday-Friday & Alternating Saturdays (5:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.).
