Floor Tech Duties

• Perform day-to-day floor cleaning functions and specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments and established floor tech procedures.
• Clean front porch and surrounding area, picking up trash, cigarette butts, empty trash cans and take trash to trash receptacle.
• Dust mopping, wet mopping and buffing of assigned floors.
• Cleaning walls, rails, doors, behind doors, and baseboards.
• Follow facility established safety and infection control practices when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies.
• Maintain work areas in a clean and safe manner.
• Report all hazardous conditions and equipment to the housekeeping and laundry supervisor.
• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor immediately.
• (Note: such occurrences must be reported on the shift in which they occur. In absence of supervisor, notify charge nurse).
