About the role

The Facilities Technician at Mark Anthony Brewing Inc. is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of all facility-related systems and equipment. Key responsibilities include managing building infrastructure, conducting safety inspections, performing minor repairs, maintaining the Building Management System, and coordinating with external contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Plant and Safety policies and procedures, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions to address hazards and mitigate risks.
  • Manage routine inspections of the facility, including repairs, cleaning, and maintenance of lighting, walls, floors, filtration, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs as necessary.
  • Maintain the Building Management System to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or renovations.
  • Afford environmental compliance by assisting in implementing sustainability initiatives and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Software to track completion of assigned work.
  • Work closely with production and other departments to coordinate activities without disrupting the manufacturing process.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Maintain inventory of facility maintenance supplies and coordinate with procurement to order supplies and materials as needed.
  • Escalate concerns to supervisor regarding safety, quality, performance goals, productivity, continuous improvement, and teamwork/harmony.
  • Participate in process improvement projects involving continuous improvement, equipment upgrades, and permanent corrective measures of recurring problems.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 – 3 years of facilities maintenance in manufacturing; general plant electrical, mechanical, and plumbing required.
  • Understanding and utilization of Building Management System, preferred.
  • HVAC experience/license (preferred).
  • Forklift, Scissor Lift and Boom Lift experience.
  • Experience sourcing parts and materials for general plant upkeep.
  • Experience using electronic testing equipment.
  • Proficient in computer and software skills such as MS office, excel, word, and email and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system.

Skills

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
