About the role

Floor care technicians are responsible for maintaining the floors of various areas including offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and dining rooms.

Responsibilities

• Dust and wet mopping
• Stripping
• Waxing
• Buffing
• Shampooing
• Extraction
• Bonneting

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• No formal education required, but a high-school diploma is desirable
• Vital ability to provide and follow oral, written, and verbal instructions
• Ability to work in a healthcare environment and conduct themselves professionally and appropriately

Qualifications

• The ability to fulfill any and all pre-employment requirements as deemed necessary by the individual facility and company
