About the role

As an Island Guide, you will lead store operations, foster a collaborative team environment, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Create a relaxed destination by executing merchandising and visual standards to transport guests somewhere great.
• Set performance expectations, provide coaching, and design internal growth programs for your team.
• Coach your crew using strong communication skills to emphasize brand direction and share product knowledge on seasonal trends.
• Onboard and develop top talent, building a collaborative team to drive key results.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail experience, including exposure to retail merchandising and visual concepts.
• Experience supervising a team in a management capacity.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• A “get things done” mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and take initiative.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with adaptability to various styles.
• Natural collaborator with a passion for team development.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Bending, stooping, and kneeling required frequently.
• Climbing ladders occasionally.
• Routine standing for the duration of shift (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay

Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including experience, knowledge, skillset, work location, and available budget. Rate Range: $19.00 or minimum wage - $26.00/hr.
