Floor Supervisor

About the role

The Floor Supervisor oversees gaming staff, circulates among casino tables, and observes operations to ensure all stations and games are covered for each shift. They are in charge on every shift and work directly with the management staff on duty. The role carries a wide range of general responsibilities on a day-to-day basis, including supervision of all staff members in the absence of management, such as desk clerks, hotel staff, maintenance staff, bartenders, cocktail waitresses, blackjack dealers, restaurant staff, parking attendants, and shuttle drivers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise gaming staff and ensure adherence to game rules.
• Handle employee issues and communicate with relevant managers.
• Wear a current gaming license and name tag at all times.
• Represent the organization as a front-line employee, providing prompt, friendly customer service.
• Maintain goodwill with all guests and ensure awareness of promotions and events.
• Encourage appropriate customer feedback.
• Promote the Mineral Palace Hotel and Casino by interacting with customers in an enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly manner.
• Build and maintain relationships with target players.
• Respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling customer needs and concerns.
• Collaborate with co-workers and all support departments to ensure player satisfaction.
• Communicate all relevant information to co-workers and management to maintain consistency and avoid potential problems.
• Maintain high standards of courtesy and professionalism.
