About the role
W Scottsdale WET Deck, Cottontail Lounge & Living Room is seeking a Floor Manager to join the team. This full-time position balances administrative and financial responsibilities with hands-on operational leadership, requiring regular on-site presence during key business hours.
Responsibilities
- Support venue operations by opening/closing assigned shifts, supervising team members, and maintaining service, safety, and hospitality standards.
- Coach and develop front-of-house employees while supporting labor efficiency and accountability.
- Partner with management, security, and hotel teams on guest flow, events, reservations, and operational needs.
- Promote VIP table bookings and reservations, with the opportunity to earn commissions on qualifying bookings.
- Monitor venue conditions, equipment, and compliance with applicable health, safety, and labor requirements.
- Manage vendor invoices, accounts payable tracking, reconciliations, credits, and billing discrepancies.
- Maintain strong communication with vendors, hotel accounting, and senior leadership.
- Execute purchase orders and support inventory management for beverage, supplies, and related products.
- Assist with physical inventories, expense tracking, budget reporting, variance analysis, and other financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, contracts, invoices, and administrative documentation.
- Support continuous improvement by refining processes, maintaining SOPs, and assisting senior leadership with reporting and operational initiatives.
- Perform other supportive functions as determined by the manager.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous hospitality and/or restaurant experience required; nightlife experience preferred.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic bar and alcohol knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to cleanliness, safety procedures, and service standards.
- Guest-oriented mindset with a professional and team-focused attitude.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Necessary food handling and alcohol certifications required.
