About the role
A Floor Lead helps all employees and customers navigate compliance procedures, cash and debit sale transactions, and employee management. Successful Floor Leads build exceptional relationships with employees and customers, possess deep knowledge of store inventory, and confidently assist customers in meeting their needs.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team
- Maintain availability to work across the retail schedule, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Be present and on time for all scheduled shifts
- Maintain CRA (Cannabis Regulatory Agency) compliance by following state and federal rules and regulations related to cannabis sales in Michigan
- Utilize Metrc training in daily operations
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy
- Adapt to the needs of employees and customers to provide trusted transactions
- Educate employees and customers about the best options to meet their goals
- Deliver exceptional customer service with excellent communication skills
- Perform routine daily tasks requiring close attention to detail and accuracy
- Maintain a steady flow within the queue for curbside, online orders, walk-in customers, reception, intake, cashiers, fulfillment, and management
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the building by completing a cleaning checklist throughout the day
- Radiate positive energy with strong interpersonal skills—approachable, enthusiastic, outgoing, and courteous
- Understand all store positions to ensure employees follow guidelines and complete daily tasks
- Report daily issues and changes to upper management for appropriate action
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age (State Requirement)
- Retail experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional customer service standards
Schedule
Full-time position. Typical hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (hours are subject to change). Occasional overtime as needed.
