About the Role

The Floor Inspector ensures our housekeeping team transforms each room into a tidy, cozy haven, delivering the perfect in-room experience for guests and anticipating needs beyond the checklist.

Responsibilities

• Serve as team lead for the entire housekeeping staff, including assigning and reviewing work.
• Oversee critical tasks such as keeping staff on schedule and inspecting/approving public areas and guest rooms for cleanliness.
• Manage laundry operations and ensure timely turnover of checkout rooms.
• Interact with hotel guests in a polite and positive manner.
• Provide training and guidance on hotel Standard Operating Procedures and departmental standards.
• Control purchasing costs and labor expenses.

Requirements

• At least one to three years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service.
• Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture.

Physical Demands

This role is physically active, requiring frequent movement. You will be:

• Standing/sitting for more than half of the time.
• Carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Walking, bending, twisting, and climbing stairs.

Schedule
