Floor Inspector

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Zenith Management Company standards
• Inspect for cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas and report any equipment problems
• Inspect bed and bathroom linens for cleanliness and condition
• Report unexpected vacant rooms to the Building Manager or Housekeeping Executive
• Check all check-outs to ensure guests have departed and rooms are in good condition
• Check all vacant rooms to confirm they are indeed vacant and update room status in the computer system
• Absorb and change room status to "Vacant Inspected" once the room is completed and inspected
• Avoid leaving unnecessary items in guest closets and maintain closet cleanliness
• Be familiar with fire alarm and carbon monoxide alarm procedures and know how to evacuate safely
• Perform any other duties as requested by the Housekeeping Executive or Building Manager

Qualifications

• Highly organized
• Capable of standing for the majority of the shift, moving constantly, and lifting up to 30 pounds
• Strong guest service skills
• Attention to detail and customer service orientation
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers
