Floor Houseperson | Glassboro Courtyard

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated team member to join our housekeeping staff at Courtyard by Marriott Glassboro–Rowan University. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel's public spaces while ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned public spaces according to franchise and hotel standards.
• Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Handle guest complaints and requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Report any maintenance deficiencies promptly.
• Observe all housekeeping, safety, and security procedures.
• Return and restock cart at the end of each shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning or seasonal cleaning tasks as scheduled.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
