What You Will Be Doing
- Ensure the cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas.
- Assist room attendants with linens and trash.
- Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants.
- Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
- Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
- Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
- Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
- Perform special projects such as flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and periodic deep cleaning assignments.
What You Should Bring to the Table
- The ability to communicate in English and a friendly smile to greet guests.
- A can-do attitude and willingness to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties.
- The ability to lift and move linens and carts weighing up to 100 lbs. through corridors.
When You Will Be Working
- Shifts are generally 7-3 or 3-11, but scheduling is based on business demands.
- Weekend availability is important.
