Floor Houseperson

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensure the cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas.
• Assist room attendants with linens and trash.
• Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants.
• Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
• Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
• Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
• Perform special projects such as flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and periodic deep cleaning assignments.

What You Should Bring to the Table

• The ability to communicate in English and a friendly smile to greet guests.
• A can-do attitude and willingness to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties.
• The ability to lift and move linens and carts weighing up to 100 lbs. through corridors.

When You Will Be Working

• Shifts are generally 7-3 or 3-11, but scheduling is based on business demands.
• Weekend availability is important.
