Floor Coordinator CNA

Lincoln Park Healthcare Campus is seeking a Floor Coordinator CNA to join our nursing staff. Day and evening shift positions are available.

Qualifications

• High school graduate
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
• Excellent computer skills
• Health care experience/medical terminology preferred
• Course work or experience with de-escalation of stressful situations preferred
• Must have a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license

About the Role

Coordinates and assists with communications for our staff, clerical paperwork, and oversight of residents. Gains cooperation and support from CNAs, Behavioral Health team, Recreation, Security, and others.

• Performs a variety of duties in maintaining and updating resident files and clinical supplies
• Intervenes, intercepts, and documents any behavioral issues residents may display, including physical altercations (e.g., hitting, biting, scratching, spitting), verbal altercations (e.g., yelling and/or screaming), and other threatening behaviors toward staff, peers, or self
• Monitors the competency and compliance of CNAs to Lincoln Park Health Care Standards of practice and policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned based on the facility’s policies and procedures as regulated by the State of NJ and Federal regulations
