Floor Care Technician - Housekeeping (Full Time)

Maintain and Care for Floors

• Spot, shampoo, and extract carpets
• Deep clean upholstered furniture, including sofas, chairs, and cushions
• Install and remove curtains and drapes
• Strip, wax, buff, and polish floors
• Sweep and mop floors in assigned areas

Physical Demands and Safety

• Safely operate floor care and extraction equipment
• Carry and maneuver equipment up and down stairs
• Move and reposition furniture and other items
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Prior experience in floor care and extraction work
• Valid California driver's license
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling
• Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Prioritize and organize tasks
• Follow directions thoroughly
• Work cohesively with co-workers
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information
• Physically demanding work for extended periods
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach repeatedly
• Push, pull, lift, and carry floor care and extraction equipment
• Operate machinery, tools, and cleaning equipment safely
• Maintain balance and coordination while working on wet, uneven, or slippery surfaces
• Work in environments involving dust, cleaning chemicals, and varying temperatures
