Floor Care Technician

Full-time position in Resort Operations at Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Responsibilities

• Clean carpets and floors in guest units and public areas of the resort
• Operate and maintain all floor cleaning equipment
• Strip and wax floors as needed
• Work independently or with a team
• Demonstrate Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to follow instructions without close supervision
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
