Floor Care Technician

About the role

We are looking to hire an energetic night-shift Custodian with floor care experience for our Schaumburg, IL location. The perfect candidate has an eye for small details, the physical ability to get the job done right, and a heart for people.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–2:00 AM (end time between 3:00 AM–4:00 AM).

Responsibilities

• Floor care including scrubbing, burnishing, and carpet extraction
• Carpet steam cleaning
• Project work such as construction clean-ups
• General cleaning tasks

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in floor care, carpet steam cleaning, project work, and general cleaning
• Competent with floor scrubber, floor burnisher, and carpet extractor
• Clean driving record and valid Illinois Driver’s License
• Legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• Available to work overnights starting around 6:00 PM
• Comfortable communicating via email and operating a smartphone

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with truck-mount systems
• Window-washing experience
