Floor Care Technician

About the role

We are looking to hire an energetic night-shift Custodian with floor care experience for our clinic locations in DuPage County, IL. The ideal candidate has an eye for small details, the physical ability to get the job done right, and a heart for people.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with hours from 5:00 PM to approximately 10:00 PM (or until the job is complete, typically ending between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM).

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks including scrubbing, burnishing, and carpet extraction
• Conduct carpet steam cleaning and project work such as construction clean-ups
• Operate floor scrubbers, floor burnishers, and carpet extractors
• General cleaning duties as required
• Communicate effectively via email and smartphone

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in floor care, carpet steam cleaning, and general cleaning
• Competency with floor scrubbers, floor burnishers, and carpet extractors
• Clean driving record and valid Illinois Driver’s License
• Legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• Available to work overnight shifts starting around 6:00 PM

A plus: Experience in truck mount cleaning and window washing.
