Floor Care Technician

About the role

We are looking to hire an energetic night-shift Custodian with floor care experience for our Chicago location. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, the physical ability to complete tasks thoroughly, and a positive attitude toward teamwork.

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks including scrubbing, burnishing, and carpet extraction
• Operate floor scrubbers, floor burnishers, and carpet extractors
• Handle project work such as construction clean-ups and general cleaning
• Communicate effectively via email and smartphone

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in floor care, carpet steam cleaning, and project-based cleaning
• Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• Available to work overnight shifts, starting around 6:00 PM and ending between 3:00 AM–4:00 AM
• Clean driving record and valid Illinois Driver’s License
• Comfortable working out of Chicago or Schaumburg office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with truck mount systems
• Experience in window washing
