About the role
Eliada Homes, established in 1903, is a long-standing nonprofit in Western North Carolina. Our 300+ acre campus serves over 600 children and youth annually through a comprehensive cradle to career program.
Responsibilities
- Maintains necessary classroom records and documents.
- Serves as a substitute teacher when needed.
- Supports operations, classrooms, children, and teachers by covering in classrooms during teacher breaks or planning time.
- Provides extra support for transitions and times when an additional teacher is needed.
- Ensures that children's physical, emotional, and educational needs are met through close supervision and observation.
- Performs tasks related to the operations of the center.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have Early Childhood credentials or be enrolled in Early Childhood courses.
