Thalhimer is seeking a skilled Floating Service Technician in Richmond, VA. This full-time role offers a regular work week with on-call hours as needed. You'll play a critical role in maintaining the quality of our apartment homes, ensuring residents enjoy a well-maintained living environment.

Responsibilities
- Complete apartment work orders and turnovers promptly
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance for HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
- Assist with the upkeep of common areas, property buildings, and pool maintenance
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service in all interactions with residents and staff
- Work with the team to ensure all maintenance tasks are handled efficiently and professionally
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
- Manage daily checklists, occasional tasks, and troubleshoot unexpected issues
Requirements
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential community or similar field
- CFC and HVAC certifications are required
- Strong background in plumbing, electrical systems, and general apartment maintenance
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between properties if needed
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for hands-on work
