Floating Patient Coordinator
SportsMed Physical Therapy is a leading Physical Therapy Practice in New Jersey seeking a Floating Patient Coordinator to join our growing team. This position will work in multiple locations throughout Monmouth and Ocean County based on coverage needs: Neptune, Middletown, Red Bank, Brick, and Toms River, NJ. Our facilities feature state-of-the-art equipment focused on outpatient sports medicine and orthopedic conditions. About the Role
The Patient Coordinator will assist patients and visitors entering our Physical Therapy Centers, handling daily front desk operations. This key position supports the team by meeting and exceeding office goals and offers great growth opportunities within SportsMed Physical Therapy.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors in person or by telephone, answering or referring inquiries.
- Optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
- Complete insurance verifications.
- Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying providers of arrivals, reviewing service delivery, and reminding providers of delays.
- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, collecting patient charges, controlling credit, and filing/expediting third-party claims.
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Maintain operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Pay
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour.
