About the role
As a Floating Leasing Agent at Z Modular Industries, you will play a key role in driving occupancy by delivering a professional and welcoming experience to prospective residents while showcasing the community’s lifestyle and amenities. The Leasing Agent manages the full leasing cycle—from initial inquiry through move-in, ensuring every interaction reflects high service standards. Responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospective residents while scheduling property tours
- Promote apartment features, community amenities, and lifestyle benefits
- Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
- Process applications, conduct background checks, and prepare lease documentation in compliance with company policies
- Facilitate renewals, move-ins, and move-outs to ensure a seamless resident experience
- Maintain an organized leasing pipeline using CRM and follow-up systems
- Support resident retention efforts and execute lease renewal campaigns
- Participate in marketing initiatives and community outreach to generate leads
- Ensure model units and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and tour-ready
- Assist with planning and executing resident events and promotional activities
- Promote and uphold workplace safety in compliance with regulations and company policies
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service (residential property management preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Leverage lease up experience is required
- Ability to speak Spanish is highly preferred
- Ability to work weekends
- Proficient in CRM platforms, leasing software, and digital tools
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Professional presentation with a confident, goal-driven closing ability
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations preferred
- Flexible availability, including weekends and some evenings
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential job functions, including conducting property tours, inspecting apartment homes and common areas, and interacting with residents and prospects
- Regular movement throughout the property, including stairs and outdoor areas, in varying weather conditions
- Visual ability to review documents and assess units and property conditions for cleanliness, safety, and readiness
- Occasional lifting or moving of items such as packages, office supplies, leasing materials, or event equipment (up to 50 pounds)
