Floating Bank Teller

Floating Bank Teller position with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution, covering branches in Goose Creek, Charleston, North Charleston, and North Summerville, SC.

About the role

Provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services, including depository accounts (checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust, and estate accounts), lending products, and credit/debit cards. Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts and loans
• Assist members with submitting consumer, mortgage, equity loan, overdraft protection, and credit card applications
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly
• Identify opportunities to cross-service products and increase product penetration
• Perform platform banking functions

Requirements

• 1-3 years of banking experience, retail, or customer service
• Cash handling experience required
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred but not required

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Must be available Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Expected to work 2-3 Saturdays a month depending on business need

Pay

$19.00 - $19.00 per hour
