About the role
Floating Bank Teller position with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution located at 3929 Holland Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23452 (Holland Windsor Shopping Center). The role involves providing a full range of banking products and services, performing platform banking functions, and assisting members with various financial needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide members and prospective members with the full range of products and services, including checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts, lending products, and credit/debit cards.
- Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
- Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts and loans.
- Assist members with submitting consumer, mortgage, equity loan, overdraft protection, and credit card applications.
- Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
- Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.
- Identify opportunities to cross‑sell products and increase product penetration.
- Perform platform banking functions as needed.
Requirements
- 1‑3 years of cash handling experience in in‑person customer service, retail, or banking.
- High School Diploma required.
Qualifications
- Bank Teller experience preferred but not required.
Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $21.42 – $21.42 per hour.
Schedule
Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Availability required Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am‑2:30 pm, with potential to work 2‑3 Saturdays per month based on business need.
