Floater

Little Stepping Stones of Garner is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters/Teacher Aides to work with all age groups.

Requirements

• High school diploma OR GED
• Ability to pass all background checks
• Previous childcare experience is a plus
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role

Responsibilities

• Willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed, including covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming classroom duties before or after scheduled shifts
• Demonstrate patience, kindness, and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff
• Operate as a team player and assist where needed under the direction of the lead teacher

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm OR 2:00pm - 6:00pm

Pay

$14-$16/hr based on education and experience
