About the role

This position is responsible for performing janitorial duties for offices and / or medical clinics and related areas. Quality customer service must be provided to the client at all times. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.

• Schedule varies by position assigned.
• 1st Shift: 7am-5:30pm Monday through Friday.
• 2nd Shift: 5pm-2:00am Monday through Friday
• Eastern Iowa Locations: Guaranteed 20 hours per week Monday through Friday and additional 20 hours are not guaranteed but allowed as needed.

What you'll do

Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop flooring and stairs.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
• Cleaning windowsills and windows.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
• Driving to multiple buildings to perform the above listed tasks.
• Ability to communicate with multiple individuals and assist with training employees as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work within the United States.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Clean driving record required to utilize company vehicles.
• Six months or more related experience preferred but not required.
• Own vehicle or reliable transportation required.
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check.

Working Environment and Physical Demands

• The work is performed in a variety of different office or medical locations with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
• The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing up to fifty pounds.

• Direct Deposit Pay every other Friday.

The pay range for this role is:

• 16 - 17 USD per hour (Thornton)
