About the role

Peach State Federal Credit Union, a financially strong and growing institution with over $1.1 billion in assets, is seeking an accomplished executive to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the Board of Directors, the CEO leads Peach State Federal Credit Union, ensuring its success, financial performance, and long-term viability.
  • Oversees all operations to ensure financial stability, regulatory compliance, and member satisfaction, aligning results with the credit union’s strategy, vision, and mission.
  • Provides day-to-day leadership, managing the credit union’s network infrastructure, including computers, phones, mobile devices, servers, routers, switches, applications, software, network circuits, etc.
  • Supports the IT Department in deploying, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing the IT infrastructure, providing first and second-tier technical and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Participates in various projects to continuously improve and upgrade the IT infrastructure.
  • Assists with restoring service in all aspects of the infrastructure, including circuits, phones, network equipment, network congestion, servers, and routing issues.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and completion of assigned Service Work Orders and documentation within the company’s established time frames.
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating documentation, including site books, service work order notes, changes, and upgrades to the environment.
  • Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of branch security-related equipment, such as access control, alarms, cameras, and DVR/NVR systems.
  • Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of IT-related equipment, including computers, monitors, phones, copiers, and printers.
  • Provides informed, professional, accurate service and support to all members and associates.
  • Designs, troubleshoots, and resolves infrastructure needs, including servers, phones, workstations, firewalls, routers, switches, applications, software, network circuits, etc.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner.
  • Performs routine system checks, documenting problems, troubleshooting steps, and conversations for reference and training purposes.
  • Carries out assigned responsibilities meeting all deadlines with respect to settlement activities, resolving errors in a timely manner.
  • Provides friendly, informed, professional, accurate service and support to all members and associates.
  • Completes daily metrics and produces required reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Processes one or more of the following within the required timeframe: Fraud/Merchant Disputes, ATM coordination, ATM reconciliation, Shared Branching, Return Deposited Items (RDI), Mobile Check Deposits, Bill Payments, Mobile Banking, On-Line Banking, ATM/DEBIT and VISA Card production and maintenance, VISA settlement, VISA balance transfers, merchant and fraud disputes.
  • Welcomes members to the branch and provides information about credit union services, directing them to the appropriate person/departments.
  • Cross-sells credit union products and services.
  • Performs miscellaneous tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering the phone.
  • Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited institution. An Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, a Juris Doctorate degree, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE), or similar credentials are desirable.

  • Minimum of five years’ progressively responsible executive leadership experience, including experience in credit unions, related financial industries, management, or related fields preferred, with progressive responsibility and evidence of demonstrated success.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, financial management, organizational leadership, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder relations.
  • Experience working with a governing board, regulatory agencies, community partners, and key stakeholders preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational growth, manage complex financial operations, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
