Float Teller Chicopee Region - FT
About the role
Float Teller position in the Chicopee region, Retail Banking department, full-time, non-exempt, grade 5, reporting to the Branch Manager. Requires local travel to Westfield Bank locations in Chicopee (Burnett Road, Center Street, East Street, Memorial Drive) and Springfield Liberty Street. Provides prompt and professional service to new and existing customers by handling day-to-day transactions such as deposits and withdrawals, assisting with customer inquiries, and floating between Westfield Bank locations.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to established Westfield Bank customer service standards.
- Provides information regarding bank products to all potential retail and commercial customers.
- Independently performs all teller transactions and related services.
- Maintains security of cash drawer.
- Proves cash drawer at end of day.
- Meets assigned referral goals through referral of bank products and services to meet customers' banking needs.
- Assists in resolving customer problems as they arise.
- May assist with balancing the ATM.
- Assists customers with safe deposit.
- Completes BSA, AML, and other regulatory and continuing education as assigned.
- Adheres to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to the position.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; minimum of 6 months of previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred; ability to float between Westfield Bank branches.

Pay
$17.55 – $25.19 hourly, plus a $1.00 hourly differential on top of base rate.
