Float Teacher - Western MA
About the role
We are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Western Massachusetts on a full-time basis starting the 2025-2026 school year.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
- Provide individualized assistance to students
- Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
- Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
- Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
- Work in a fast-paced behavioral health facility
- Teach in a small classroom setting with class sizes ranging from 8 to 15 students
- Commit to a 40-hour workweek, Monday-Friday, 7:30-4:00pm
Requirements
- B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Ma state teaching license
- Comfortable working with K-12 students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable transportation
