Float School Based Therapist (Travel Required - Montgomery Co.)

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and participate in diagnostic evaluations as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to students and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Complete treatment plan reviews, outcome measures, and discharge documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case consultation.
• Meet productivity and quality expectations.
• Participate in supervision, training, and quality improvement.
• Comply with HIPAA, FERPA, Medicaid, and agency policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education/Experience: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health discipline preferred. Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families is preferred. School-based or community behavioral health experience strongly preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Ohio LSW or LPC required. Higher behavioral health licensure designation preferred.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of trauma-informed care, child development, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Work Environment: Primary work is performed in assigned school buildings with occasional travel.
