Float Sales & Service Representative (Bank Teller)

About the role

Join our branch team and make a difference as a Sales and Service Representative. You will process transactions and customer service requests in the branch, raise customer awareness of bank capabilities, tools, and resources, and support the branch’s sales efforts by identifying and referring opportunities to the appropriate partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues.
  • Initiate conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities.
  • Listen attentively, ask insightful questions to understand needs, and take prompt action to address immediate needs.
  • Proactively seek coaching, support bank initiatives, and leverage tools to enhance performance.
• Operations and Administration
  • Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risk.
  • Complete required training by established deadlines.
  • Perform general office management duties to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure transaction accuracy and operational efficiency in deposit-taking functions; results may contribute to individual and team performance metrics.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months of customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license; position requires frequent driving to other offices and customer locations (personal vehicle; gas mileage reimbursed).

Qualifications

• Financial literacy.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and services.

Preferred: Sales or banking experience.

Pay

The base pay for this position is generally between $19.00 and $23.00 per hour. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
