Float Bank Sales and Service Representative (Teller)

About the Role

Join our branch team as a Sales and Service Representative and make a difference by processing transactions and handling customer service requests. You’ll educate customers about bank capabilities, tools, and resources while supporting the branch’s sales efforts by identifying and referring opportunities to the right partners.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues.
• Initiate conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities.
• Listen attentively and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and preferences; take prompt action to address immediate needs.
• Proactively seek ways to optimize performance by seeking coaching, supporting bank initiatives, and leveraging tools to enhance activities.
• Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal aspects of customer interactions and transactions.
• Complete required training by established deadlines.
• Perform general office management duties to ensure operational efficiency.
• For roles involving deposits: ensure transaction accuracy and operational efficiency, contributing to both individual and team performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months of customer service experience.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Sales experience.
• Financial literacy.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and services.
