Float Registered Nurse - Full-Time

About the role

The ICU Float Nurse provides direct patient care across multiple intensive care unit (ICU) departments in a dynamic healthcare setting, delivering patient‑centered care and serving as a liaison among healthcare disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts.
• Document and execute physician and nursing orders.
• Assess patient needs to ensure high‑quality care.
• Deliver patient‑centered care and act as a liaison among healthcare disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and protocols.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a multi‑state license.
• BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Preferred: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Experience with hemodynamics.
• Ability to float between ICU units as needed.
