Float Pool RN

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Float/Flex Team, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery. You will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, make critical assessments, perform skilled procedures, and implement patient care plans. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Detect and recognize acute changes, escalate or address concerns, and manage critical results.
• Administer and monitor therapeutic interventions and regimens, including starting and maintaining intravenous therapies, administering medication according to patients' rights, preventing falls and skin breakdown, and adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage rapidly changing situations by identifying, assessing, and anticipating patient needs.
• Prioritize, coordinate, and meet multiple patient needs in a timely manner.
• Contribute to a healing environment by providing patient comfort and support, advocating for patients, and maintaining a therapeutic environment.
• Assess and evaluate patient readiness and ability to learn, explain patient conditions and interpretations of illness effectively.

Requirements

• Associate of Nursing, upon hire
• Registered Nurse: TN, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 months
• Preferred: Bachelor's of Nursing, upon hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 6 months
