Float Phlebotomist - PRN/Per Diem

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 1310 116th Ave NE in Bellevue, WA. We have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. Every day we provide vital information that helps our clients and patients understand their health.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed, reliable transportation required

Requirements

• Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Be at least 21 years old
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Qualifications

• 6 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist (preferred)
• In lieu of state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement

Pay

Pay Range: $21.87 to $32.28 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Schedule

This is a Casual/Per Diem position; hours will be "as needed" and the start and end times will vary.
