Opportunity

As a Float Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant, you'll provide an exceptional experience for our patients and help them manage an important part of their care journey by performing venipunctures and other clinical support services. You will be an ambassador for patients, mastering human connection and service excellence.

• Use impeccable C-I-CARE in all patient interactions, ensuring a positive in-office experience through patient intake, same-day scheduling, follow-up scheduling, and billing.
• Provide best-in-class venipuncture services, adapting to a wide age range (pediatrics to geriatrics).
• Perform and assist with extended scope duties such as EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs.
• Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen handling, inventory management, and tool sterilization.
• Care for our members beyond the lab room by answering messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting with clerical duties like biometric screening forms, medical record reviews, and billing inquiries.
• Contribute to team development through rounding, team huddles, problem-solving, and supporting providers with ad-hoc requests.
• Perform opening and closing duties, maintaining the office's look and feel, restocking supplies, and organizing the technology suite (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, EMR system).
• Master our technology suite to interact with team members and complete daily work.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment.
• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams, particularly with remote teams.
• A proven ability to display confidence and instill trust during the collection process while delivering individualized, human-centered, customer-focused care.
• A proven track record of persisting through change, consistently stepping up to take action on challenges, and learning quickly and effectively when faced with new situations or tasks.

Pay

$23.00-$25.00 per hour based on a standard full-time schedule.

Schedule

Full-time role (40 hrs/week), with 8 hr shifts generally taking place between 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, based in Aurora, CO. Flex Lab Services Specialists/Member Support Specialists lend support to multiple One Medical locations in a market and location and schedule are subject to change.
