About the role

You will be based out of the St. Paul and Minneapolis area, but when business needs arise, you will also need to travel to sites throughout Minnesota (e.g., Duluth, Mankato, Winona). Hours are 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday–Friday; specific daily hours will be determined by the site you cover.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
  • Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
  • Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Minnesota
  • Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license
  • Ability to use your own car to travel to each location as business needs arise

Preferred Qualifications

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience

Pay

The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment, determined by factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
