Float Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Work with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Minnesota
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license
• Ability to use your own car to get to each location as business needs arise

Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred)
• 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience (preferred)

Schedule

You will be working between the hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Friday (specific hours will be determined on the site you will be covering for the day).

Location

You will be based out of the St. Paul and Minneapolis area, but when business needs arise, you will also need to travel to sites throughout MN, for example: Duluth, Mankato, and Winona.

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
