Float Pharmacy Technician

About the role
We seek a Float Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- Travel up to 50% for local deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic
- Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
- Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
- Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Assist the Pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Florida
- Access to reliable transportation and valid US Driver's License with good driving record
- Ability to work onsite 3 days a week at 5711 S Dixie Hwy. Miami, FL and 2 days a week at 22790 SW 112th Ave. Miami, FL
- Ability to travel up to 50% between the 2 Miami locations
- Ability to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Pay
The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between 8:00am-5:00pm
- Lunch break from 12:30pm to 1:00pm
