Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Float Pool and Per Diem Pool.
- Ensure safe staffing, scheduling, and effective resource allocation.
- Foster a culture of quality, safety, service excellence, and professional nursing practice.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate nursing staff.
- Support quality improvement, patient experience, and caregiver engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Manage department resources and contribute to budget planning and stewardship.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Completed Master's degree in nursing or alternatively, completed BSN with a Master's degree in healthcare or business management field.
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty required; Nurse Executive certification preferred.
- Five years of appropriate clinical and leadership experience.
- Current RN licensure accepted in the State of DE.
- BCLS certification.
