Responsibilities

• Manage 75-100 direct reports (float pool nurses)
• Lead and support performance and quality improvement initiatives
• Implement evidence-based practice changes
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and hospital policies
• Utilize critical thinking and technology in decision-making, problem-solving, and integrating new systems
• Provide strong leadership and mentorship
• Maintain high-quality clinical care
• Support staff development
• Maintain clear communication and planning for patient care delivery
• Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Computer literacy required
• Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word proficiency
• Bachelor's of Nursing degree [Required]
• Master's of Nursing degree [Preferred]
• 1+ years of management of charge nurse experience [Required]
• 2+ years of acute care experience [Required]
• Registered Nurse (RN) license [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Skills and Abilities

• Highly technical principles, concepts, and techniques related to nursing

$38.58 - $71.76 per hour
