About the role

Float Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers by meeting face to face and engaging them when and where they need to provide the best possible counsel. They originate and close consumer loans, open accounts, and open/close branches.

Responsibilities

  • Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
  • Engage and communicate with clients
  • Absorb and apply knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems
  • Identify and recommend financial solutions based on each customer's unique goals and needs
  • Handle various security and operational processes and procedures
  • Participate in sales campaigns/promotions
  • Explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
  • Make appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
  • Work from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five or more years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems
  • Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
  • Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
  • Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred
