About the Role

Aviation Advisor, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Flight Operations Supervisor to join our corporate office in Kenosha, WI. This full-time, exempt position offers the opportunity for growth, a generous benefit package, and a professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Shift Supervisor, overseeing the daily operations of the department and working closely with the Flight Operations Manager to provide leadership, guidance, and support to the scheduling team.
  • Act as the primary scheduler during assigned shifts and assist with training, mentoring, and performance oversight.
  • Generate and maintain monthly crew schedules.
  • Coordinate all aspects of aircraft owner flights.
  • Handle all aspects of Charter Sales and Flight Following.
  • Receive and provide timely, accurate quotes for charter requests by retail clients, operators, and brokers.
  • Analyze operational factors and restrictions (e.g., weather, runway capacity, aircraft performance, airport hours, crew duty) that may affect flight completion during the initial quoting phase.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments (Maintenance, Operations) to ensure seamless trip execution.
  • Proactively seek charter opportunities for a diverse fleet of aircraft instead of passively waiting for inquiries.
  • Maintain a customer-service-focused attitude, anticipating clients’ needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Prepare and send contracts for client acceptance and execute vendor contracts.
  • Ensure client payments are received and vendor payments are sent in a timely manner according to terms.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • 2-5 years of applicable work experience.
  • Experience in leadership or management.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with superb organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Passion to learn, increase skills, and take on new projects and responsibilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
