Flight Operations Specialist - Part 107

About the role

Responsible for setting up and taking down delivery drones, performing safety checks, and ensuring smooth flight operations in compliance with FAA regulations and company protocols. Part of a Roving Team managing drones across multiple sites in the Greater Memphis area (as far as Hernando, MS).

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down delivery drones
• Perform aircraft inspections (pre-flight and post-flight)
• Conduct daily start-of-day and end-of-day activities
• Perform routine aircraft standard practices as defined in the UAS Maintenance Manual
• Inspect nest equipment (pre-flight and post-flight) and conduct daily start-of-day and end-of-day activities
• Replace equipment as required
• Participate in Crew Briefs
• Maintain communications with the client Pilot-in-Command

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• Must pass background verification (BGV) and motor vehicle record (MVR) check
• Must hold a Part 107 Certification/License
• Eligible to drive a regular vehicle averaging 40–50 miles per day

Physical Requirements

• Lift from ground level and carry up to 35 lbs, including multiple items simultaneously
• Crouch to pick up or place objects weighing up to 20 lbs
• Push or pull a wheeled cart on level ground weighing up to 200 lbs
• Be on feet constantly, walking 10,000+ steps per day
• Work outside in various weather conditions (light rain, wind, temperatures ranging from 23°F to 110°F)
• Maintain mental and visual alertness

Schedule

Various shifts available within core hours of 8:30 AM–8:30 PM CT, with potential hours ranging from 7:00 AM–10:00 PM. Maximum of 40 hours per week. Schedule depends on business needs and personal preference, with options for traditional 8-hour days (5 days/week) or 12-hour shifts (3–4 days/week).

Pay

$29–30 per hour.
