Responsibilities

  • Supports operational planning and execution within a NAVAIR aviation test and evaluation environment.
  • Covers flight, simulator, and ground test activities, coordinating with external stakeholders on flight test range and airspace requirements.
  • Manages aircraft configurations, aircrew qualifications, and flight test instrumentation requirements to enable successful execution of test events.
  • Collaborates across military, civil service, and contractor teams to comply with established instructions.
  • Ensures accurate tracking of flight qualifications, resource utilization, and scheduling priorities across multiple workstreams.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of NAVAIR experience supporting aviation operations, flight scheduling, or test and evaluation environments.
  • Three years of relevant aviation operations or test support experience.
  • Experience with flight operations coordination, scheduling, or aviation program support.
  • Current DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain.
  • US Citizenship required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Ten or more years of relevant aviation operations or test support experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience supporting flight test or aviation test and evaluation squadrons.
  • Experience coordinating with range operations and multi-agency stakeholders.
  • Experience as a military aviator or aircrew.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$89K - $136K. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.

Schedule

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week.
