Flexsizer Operator

About the role

Operate the flexsizer/ham portioner machine, including all support equipment on the line. The position requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as assigned by the department lead/supervisor.
• Multi-task with minimal supervision.
• Work as a team player to meet standard operating specifications safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with other team members.
• Assist in other areas as directed by lead, supervisor, or manager.
• Follow Company’s GMPs, SOPs, plant rules, policies, and codes of conduct.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Meet the requirements of both internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Work in a cold, damp environment.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Basic oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move 50-75 pounds (with assistance when required).
• Available to work Monday to Friday, with weekend work as dictated by production needs.
• At least 18 years old.

Must have fewer than 7 occurrences and not have been awarded a higher-rated job in the last 6 months.
